Aims & Objectives of the Course

The course
is aimed to train the personnel in
Tool Design capable of designing the tools independently as required by the industry.

Design Practice, Process Planning, Metrology, Material Spec,
ii) Tooling Subjects, Design of Metal Forming Tools, Metal Cutting Tools, Die Casting
Dies, Forging Dies, Jigs & Fixtures
iii) AutoCAD, Pro-E, MasterCAM

Practicals
|
The trainees
are exposed to design the tools. In addition the trainees are also
made to design tools for standard and special components in the areas of jigs,
fixtures, die casting dies, injection moulds etc. and evaluate by expert faculty
|
