Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design
IDEMI, Mumbai (Govt. of India Institute) is conducting a one-year full time "Post Graduate Diploma in Tool Design" in collaboration with Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad.  Following are the details :
Eligibility	B.E. (Mech./Prod./Automobile Engg.)
Aims & Objectives of the Course	The course is aimed to train the personnel in Tool Design capable of designing the tools independently as required by the industry.
Subjects	Design Practice, Process Planning, Metrology, Material Spec,   ii) Tooling Subjects, Design of Metal Forming Tools, Metal Cutting Tools, Die Casting Dies, Forging Dies, Jigs & Fixtures        iii) AutoCAD, Pro-E, MasterCAM
Practicals	The trainees are exposed to design the tools.  In addition the trainees are also made to design tools for standard and special components in the areas of jigs, fixtures, die casting dies, injection moulds etc. and evaluate by expert faculty
